Good point, oldtanker! Although I don't think I would want to hit the road in a "new" vehicle that is over 50 years old without changing out all the belts, hoses, and fluids. Those Cameo Carriers were only made from 1955 to 1958, and production ceased early in 1958 with only 1405 units being produced. During the entire four year run there were less than 10,500 units built. Side note: If you want a really rare truck, GMC offered a similar truck in 1955 only! Besides the standard six (which was larger than Chevy's six, it had an optional 287ci Pontiac engine. It was called the Suburban Carrier. They only built 300 units!

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
