I redid my Ford 3000 with an inframe on a non-sleeved engine. The cylinders were in good enough shape, as were the lowers. Top miked at the maximum tolerance and the bearings were ok. Alum. pistons and rings were shot. Nothing different from a gasser other than one more ring on the pistons. Had the head worked over in the usual manner. Been about 10 years now and still starts right up and runs like a top.
I did a 4020 deere also but it needed new sleeves too and low end but still did the inframe. That was much more complicated in fooling with the wet sleeves.
