Well you can still get parts as they broke down enough that you will need them. LOL They would be terrible for road towing. I bet they would not get 5-6 MPG if you put a trailer behind one of them. Even then you would not get there very fast.
Most military vehicles are ODD ball vehicles. They are built to spec and do not usually match any civilian vehicle. Had a few friends that tried to use old surplus Military trucks for grain trucks. They where always broken down.
