Lost an 81 year old neighbor yesterday afternoon. He was headed home from the grain elevator in town one mile away with a tractor and two empty wagons. East bound on the pavement he was making a left turn to head up the gravel road to his home a half mile up the road. According to the ISP a loaded, east bound, semi tried to pass him. Semi hit the tractor and first wagon, pushed them into the NE corner of the intersection and down in the ditch. The tractor tipped on it's side and the cab top struck and broke a utility pole. Semi driver was not injured, My Neighbor was killed. It is a sad day in our community. Ron
