My maternal grandmom died in 1936 only 52 from a stroke. My mother had stroke in 1994 and died and in 1998 my older brother died from a stroke. He was only 66. His 5th wife kept him on life support for 3 months. He served the Air Force during the Korean War and I was in the Army. I'll soon be 81 and married 60 years. Need to watch the blood pressure. Hal

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
