Hi The guy that did it named his price so he was happy and Obviously wasn"t loosing . The tractor was half way back from Alberta. The first guy was trying to charge load price from Alberta, Basically ripping me off. If the second guy had said $1200 I would of still paid it, As it would cost me that in lost shop time and fuel. Just proves that some guys are way to greedy, and the first guy is the one that was whining, about local people not supporting him. Well I wonder why. we aren"t all completely stupid ! Regards Robert

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
