Brought my SIL's dog back to her home in the dark and he was barking at what I thought sounded like another domestic dog barking back not too far into the woods. Then they broke into their clasic coyote howl that gave me the willies. I've heard them howl plenty of times (not as close as this time) but I never thought about a bark. Its getting too creepy to go out even in the yard at night unless I'm packing.
