The Massey being a diesel would be a big advantage but the only advantage. Park both tractors next to each other, I think you'll find the Deere much heavier built. If the you feel the Massey is heavy enough, OK. Next drive the Massey some, decide which you feel is more comfortable to operate. I know a couple of people with 3010 diesels that have run them hard and still have them and like them. I have a 3020 diesel and a 165 gas here. I farm with the 3020 but plan to fix up and sell the 165. In the end the choice is yours, but I feel it would be more of a sideways move rather than a step up.
