If you've had good success with Chevy you may want to stick with them (I think their product stinks but to each their own). To hear some people tell it Dodge is just pure EVIL. After owning a Ford vehicle I'll never own another. Thing was in the shop more than it was on the road. Fixed Or Repaired Daily is what it stands for. Most of the people who have had problems with Dodge trasmissions beat the helll out of their stuff to begin with. Maybe someone could also tell me about the company today that is 100% American built and 100% American owned. Doubt its Dodge, Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Honda, Nissan or any others. Didn't Chevy go bankrupt TWICE? Relative of mine has a 2006 Silverado. New drivers' front wheel bearing at 17,000 miles (I have NEVER had to replace a wheel bearing on a Dodge at any mileage). All new brakes and brake lines at 22,000. Another relative had the transmission go out at 50,000 on his 1500. Both very tame drivers too not rough on their vehicles at all.
