Gene, "Hate Menards, Home Depot, and Lowes. The stores are too big."
Menards, HF, Sears, and Lowes are only a few miles away. I look at it that the glass is half full instead of half empty. Each store sells something cheaper and better than the other. I shop at all 4 and take advantage of their sales.
I love Menards rebate program. Free delivery for contractors, 2% refund on credit card purchases. Lowes, is where I buy mower belts, dewalt tools, and appliances. Instant 5% off credit card purchases. HF, is mostly junk, but has some items that other stores don't have and are good, like a 10 in circular saw blade sharpner. No hassle on returns. Sears, love their 18 inch electric chainsaw. Instant 5% off credit card purchases.
I look for the good each store offers, not look for something to hate. George

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
