Seems funny to be that you just have to try to bash JD.
I'm not loyal to any brand. Here the issue is not only cost but service after the sale. Here both JD and CaseIH have good service after the sale (JD is a bit better). AGCO/MF service after the sale is nonexistent. Kubota is just a little further to drive and McCormick is a lot further. No other brands are available within a reasonable drive. I'd rather buy from JD than CaseIH just on the principal that money spent at CaseIH goes to Fiat in Italy while money spent at JD stays here.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
