I had one, 2wd with cab. Kept it for about 3 years and dumped it.This is not a good tractor! The cab dosen"t have enough windows that open, And the air conditioner cool and the trans/hydraulic oil cooler are too close to the rad. This causes the rad to plug with dirt, and needs to be blowen out almost daily The rad is too small for this tractor, it is the same rad used in all the IH tractors that where in this series, and built in Doncaster England. Frequent clutch failuer is also a common problem. A wise operator of one of these tractors will use only CaseIH hytran , as it can take the heat and not break down. They came with 2 hydraulic pump options, I think 11 or 12 was standered. You would want the bigger pump, again I can"t recall for sure but I beleive it was a 20gpm. My brother still runs 2 , a 584 and a 585. Each of these tractors has had sevral clutches. And one ,the 584, had to have a sleeve replaced at 1400hrs due to cavitation. Just not a real good tractor, in my opinion, but each to his own Bruce
