I watched a couple of youtube videos, and went after it. Just to be sure(before you drop the cash) hook up to a scan tool and watch your rail pressure. It will start out at between 5or7K(depending if someone has hung a tuner on it or shimmed the relief)) and will drop down to 2k or 2500, and then jump back up. When it jumps back up, is when you get your surge.
