Another vote for Tempur Pedic. We have been enjoying ours for about 9 years and it still feels about the same as it did when it was new. We got it for our 25th anniversary and it was a HUGE improvement over the old mattress we had been using since we married.
It was expensive, but in my opinion, well worth it. I always sleep better on that bed than any other and awake rested.
About the only negative thing I could say about it was when it was delivered, it was in a sealed plastic bag. When we opened the bag, the mattress smelled strongly of some kind of organic solvent or gas, and it continued to outgas for several weeks. We could not sleep in the room the mattress was in for a couple of weeks, as my wife has asthma, and we almost sent it back to the store. However after 2 or 3 weeks, the odor was much less and then finally the odor was gone. I am glad we kept it. It would seem to me that the company or the store should somehow deal with that odor before a mattress is delivered. The mattress we tried in the store didn"t stink like that.
Another thing to be aware of with the Tempur Pedic is that it tends to hold a lot of heat under your sleeping body. That is great in the winter and OK in an air conditioned house in the summer, but it might be a problem to some people if they are bothered by heat.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
