Yes, but I should have said Allis B. I posted this message on the Unofficial Allis page first and didn't have to state Allis B there. Thanks for the advice. I expect I'll stick with the cheaper decals and probably get Black with long A & S unless I hear a convincing reason to get the all the same size letters. I don't think I could be convinced to use Blue but would like to know what it had origionally.

: Just like a John Deere man to assume you are talking about JD B when you obviously are dealing with an AC B (long A and long S is the give away) I've had good luck dealing with John Hunter Decals phone/fax 219-365-8920 Die cuts more closely approximate the sprayed on original lettering because there is no border. They are also more expensive and are harder to use. I'd stick with the mylar backed versions myself.
: : I need some advice on decals for my 1941 B.

: : Should it have the blue or black letters?
: : All same size letters or long A & S?

: : I know there are different kinds of decals for instance I see some places list the decals then have a separate section for vinal cut decals. What type is the best? Which is the easiest to apply? Most durable? Where is the best place to purchase them (price, instructions on where they are located, completeness of the sets, etc?)

: : Thanks for any advice on the subject.

: : Chris

Today's Featured Article - Old Time Threshing - by Anthony West. A lovely harvest evening late September 1947, I was a school boy, like all school boys I loved harvest time. The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c ...
