Exactly. And wouldn't he feel like dirt if he had destroyed it before he found out the other person had permission. And what if it was some young person who had saved their money to buy it and was proud as could be of it. You could ruin his desire to hunt again,whether he had permission or was there because he was a little misguided.
And the shouting to shooting is exactly what I warned about,not escalating the situation.
All I can do it laugh at all the folks who claim to be helpful,believe in karma or the golden rule,all that flowery stuff then puff up their chest like a big man and say they'd take,or destroy somebody elses stuff instead of doing what is actually the easier thing to do,lay it down and leave a note.
