Liberty is a herbicide with the same capacity as roundup. It uses a different mode of action though so it is effective on roundup resistant weeds. Thus the reason for my switch to liberty link. I am well aware that my weeds will become resistant to Liberty in time so then I will switch back to Roundup. Liberty link is the name of the system as roundup ready is to Roundup system. One difference in the two is how fast acting liberty is. By the time you come back on the next round the weeds are already starting to bend over.
