You do not want those. If your planter sets a few days or if you get a bad batch of fertlizer thosr springs will distort and bunch up and make a hole in your fiberglass fertlizer hopper.I have seen alot of AC planters with patched boxes because of this.If you are a great operater who never lets fertlizer set in boxes and always make sure to turn fertlizer drive with a wrench before using you will be ok. It was an ok idea back in the day but I would go with the Deere style augers,you can get them from Shoup Manufacturing at a reasonable price.
