Does anybody out there know where a guy can find a 710 cap for his vehicle. I"ve seen them on a bunch of different brands but can"t seem to find one to fit mine.......LOL Seriously, does anyone know what I am talking about? Until tonight I had only heard of someone looking for one in a dumb blond joke, but that all changed tonight. Buddy of mine was in one of the local auto parts houses when a guy came in asking for a 710 cap for his car. He didn"t know anything else about it other than most new cars had them, and he needed one for his, since his was broke. The guy behind the counter had no clue what the man wanted and told him he"d have to bring the item in so he could match it up. So, the guy walked back out to his car, popped the hood, and brought his broken 710 cap in.....
Anybody caught on yet, or are you still lost? If you guessed the guy wanted an OIL fill cap for his car then you guessed it right. Seriously, I had only heard of someone asking for one as a joke, and never thought it was possible for anyone to be that dumb, but my buddy stood there and watched it happen with is own eyes....then had to call and tell me the story because he couldn"t believe it either.....
Just goes to show that as dumb as the folks on the other side of the parts counter seem to be at times, there are just as many that are as dumb, or dumber on the customer side of things too.
