NOT DEERE. Up till about 5 years ago they were good but any I have bought since I have been getting about a year before they go bad. Sometimes I catch it before the warranty goes off and local deere dealer doesn't balk but I am sick and tired of replacing batteries every year.
If it is a vehicle I depend on it gets a new Interstate now. Just got one from the local "Farm" store for a collector tractor today. I am not worried about Interstate and time will tell on the "farm" store (not real confident here).
Not saying I won't ever use Deere again but they need to go back the the old specs they had Exide make them to over 5 years ago.
Oh BTW when I had to put new ones in my Semi last spring for the third time in three years Interstate was about 2/3's the price of Deere.
Sorry for the Rant but you asked. If you need it to run without problems I would vote for Interstate.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
