Glad some people like them-we had nothing but BAD luck with one. In the late 1990's my grandpa traded his JD 3010 D for an used IHC/Farmall 806 D (do like and have used IHC M's off and on before and since, still have one M and one F14 that need some attention, generally biased to any thing with ag tires on em) Boy was I glad to see that pile of JUNK go to the auction in the early 2000's. Hate to say it, but that is the only tractor I've met yet that DESERVED a one way ticket to a Chinese Smelter! Every single time we took that thing to the field it broke down. We spent more time working on it than farming with it.
If it had worked, we would have been using it for wheel discing, and ripping.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
