I am a nurse in long term care. Check the place out and show up when you are not expected. Most caregivers truly love what they do but there are some who just want a paycheck. They don't last in a well run facility. If you see something wrong, go to the director of nursing. If that doesn't work, utilize your ombudsman. You and your dad are in my prayers.
