Glad you made it. Amazing how you feel you have things under control and a split second later, before you can think about what happened you're in the ditch.
Holding our breath. Power crews have really been working to fix things up. Had a couple of flickers yesterday and about 9pm it was on for about 15 min. Then today it came on around 1:30 pm and around 2 it just bam bam bam flickering and died. The ref and freezer were going nuts so I unplugged them as fast as I could. Back on at 4:30 and holding our breath. Maybe they got her fixed this time as we are passing 1 hour on.
Guys around have been doing a super job of trimming trees but ice is a killer. I suspect that the problems with this were trees that were overloaded and finally broke. Sometimes they just cut a grove in vegetation allowing the line to pass. I'm assuming that these problems are coming from some of the taller parts adjacent to the line they didn't cut.
The geese stuck it out till this afternoon and left. Surprised they hung around for this long. They are supposed to be down on the coast with their buddies even though they are domestic.
Dingo is doing well. On double premium rations and she loves it. Had to break ice for the cows in their water trough as no power to the heater. Can't use the pool as it is 6' low and they would get stuck up to their bellies.
