Im 76 and keep my cell phone in my front overalls pocket.A flap snaps down so it can fall out.I rarely use it but its always with me.I dont see the concern that neighbors used to have for neighbors any more.A fellow who lives across from my son has not been to see my son at all.My son was hurt in a car accident august 25 and has had to use a walker since. My son worked for the fellow surveying and pruning his orchard. My son didnt have any firewood in his wood shed when he got hurt.I hauled out what I had cut last year but it wasnt enough. My nephews and a friend made several 250 mile trips to help out.We cut a lot of white ash and got both wood sheds filled. My daughter and family helped stacking wood in the shed.My friends who would have pitched in to help are disabled or have passed on.I have lived here for 45 years but are worried about growing old here.I put in 35 years in the volunteer fire department.I noticed 2 of our firemen put their places up for sale after a ripoff tax assesmment was done.We had an ambulance service for 20 years but thats gone now.My advise to young people is this.Get out of the rural areas because you will get high taxes and zero services.
