Do you have the IH wrench number??? There where several that where call magneto wrenches. Some of them just where curved open end wrenches.
Also are you wanting to use the wrench on a magneto or just collecting to match your tractors??? The reason I asked is this. In use the magneto wrench like you pictured are a pain to actually use. They where fine to carry in the tractor tool box for field adjustments if needed but in the shop angled end wrenches and a feeler gauge worked much better. IF your collecting then the wrench in the picture is newer than your old regular or F series tractors. The stamped wrenches would have been used after WWII. Actually more common in the mid to late 1950s.
I used to have some of the older cast iron and brass magneto wrenches. I am sure some of them were IH. I will have to do some searching as I do not remember where they are at right now. I know I did not sell them but I don't remember seeing them for years.
The picture is of the more common cast magneto wrench. They where for the mounting bolts/nuts. The one you have in the picture was for actually working on the internal magneto parts.
