It just depends on how close you are to a drought area. 2 years ago there were hundreds of loads sent to Texas from north Arkansas. Last year we had a bad drought and hay was brought in from Mississippi and lots of corn stalks were fed. This year was the best hay year in recent memory. Everybody has a surplus, at least that's what I thought in November. This has been a snowy and icy late fall and I've fed more than I have at this time since back in the 70's and early 80's.
