dej(Jed), I bought this one new in 1969-70ish, the store owner wanted to know what I was going to hunt with it, I told him Whitetail deer, he sort of laughed and told me it was originally designed for Cape Buffalo. So far I haven't run across any here,but am prepared in any case.lol. First tried with a 30-30,but got tired of figuring out how to project a rainbow arc to hit them over 40 ft.lol.
