I met E J in 1973, I sold him two I H C F 30 chassis that I had got at a garbage dump at Fairfield, Illinois, I delivered them to him in the middle of a Michigan winter, Remembered his old barn with at least a coupe dozen Allison's V 12 engines. The next Fall he had one of the F 30's with a Allison at our local tractor pull. Can still the track announcer refering to the pulling tractor as the Fairfield Garbage Compactor.
