I"m cautiously optimistic that it is working now. I took off the pto lever and cover to access the filter. The filter was REALLY dirty. I didn"t have one accessible so I just cleaned this one. Put everything together and I can notice a huge difference in how it is raising the arms with no load. If I have the draft lever all the way back, I can even hear the system over pressuring when the arms are at the top. Move it just down slightly and you can hear the pressure lessening as it should. I"m going to have to use this and change the oil a time or two. I put new oil in it and it is starting to look whitish again. When I looked inside the transmission case. the casing is coated in this white crud. Thanks for the advice regarding the draft and position control. I"ll have to try that now that I can actually get the arms to lift smoothly. I"ll try putting the snow blower on again and see if she has the power to lift it.
