I find my Leatherman to be real handy and almost always have it in the pocket of whatever pants I am wearing.
Years ago my Wife bought me a second Leatherman, which I keep as a spare. The few times I have misplaced my original Leatherman, the second one filled in nicely.
Great tool. Very durable, just needs a bit of sharpening on the knife blade once in awhile and some oil in the pivots. I would hate to be without one for any length of time.
I would just buy a new one, and hope the original would show up. Good luck!
