That sure doesn't look like it's any fun. We've had two of those way down here in central Alabama and the power was off 7 days in the first one and 10 days in the second one. Not pleasant as we are just not geared for that type of weather. My wife was mighty glad I insisted on putting a nice wood stove in the living room corner (cabinet style, no viewing glass), it came in very handy those years and still does. I live way out in the sticks and we are about the last one's on the line so we get power last.
One thing I have wondered, Is it worse to get major snow or big ice storm?
