Its getting close to prime time, so Merry Christmas to you all. I love the season and the reason (to celebrate the Birth of Christ) but unfortunately am one of those who have a hard time getting through it. I remember when the main attraction was all my cousins and aunts and uncles gathering at my grandparents and when it was only one or two gifts that really meant something, compared to now when its all commercialism (instead of the birth of Christ)starting in October and kids getting so many presents they don't even know what they got and nothing has any meaning (back to cell phones and video games). Then there's the ACLU and far left lurking around schools threatening a law suit if the kids sing Silent Night let alone dare hold a pageant, and the politically correct censorship Speech Police with their war on Christmas and trying to censor the traditional Merry Christmas Greeting and their "Holiday" trees versus Christmas trees.
Oh well, enough, I learn to survive by shutting down and going emotionally and physically NUMB with the feeling as if concrete blocks were on my chest. It's Christmas Eve and then all of a sudden its Christmas and its all over in an instant and when the last kids go home its that empty vacuum hollow feeling inside my heart and chest grrrrrrrrrrrrrr However, theres a light at the end of the tunnel, once the empty hollow vacuum subsides it time to head South which lifts my spirits yayyyyyyyyyyyy
