The year I remember , I was a Freshman in High School. I received a Marlin 22 rifle for Christmas and it was the best gift ever. It was bittersweet though as my parents were in the midst of a nasty divorce. Dad and I were alone on the farm and my brothers were with my Mother far away in the city. The neighbors invited us to dinner or it would have been TV dinners. I spent Christmas Day feeding cattle and chopping ice on the pond for them to drink. Found a few hours late in the day to hunt with my new rifle. Dad is gone now and also the cattle but the rifle is here in the corner. Merry Christmas to all of you.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
