I didn't grow up in that time period but I've heard a lot of stories from my Mom, Dad (he died in 12/1989 job accident) I now have the Ford 850 we used to work together, also, heard stories from other relatives, have 2 uncles that fought in WWII both in the Navy, one is still alive in Clifton, TX, I do have a desk from that era just like the ones in photo #68, I have a lot of respect for the people that crew up in that era it seems they had MORE respect in that time than people do these days. I enjoyed the pictures, I'm gonna forward the web page to my Mom.
