I didn't really want Cinnamon when they brought her home either, but your right, the little rats do kind of grow on you. In my, case when I set down, 90% of the time she is laying in my lap. Attitude wise I think it's just a thing for small dogs to have an attitude way bigger then they are. She hasn't had a run in with any cats, but she has absolutely no problem backing down my Lab, especially when food is concerned. It's really funny, she'll stand there and growl on and on even if it's over something we're eating and she thinks she's going to get a scrap. Even funnier is the look on Roscoe's face when she starts and he begins backing off. I guess at heart he's a real softie when it comes to 'the little rats' too.....LOL.
