Go to the place where you got your card and fill out a fraud complaint. My bank issued mine and the card is Visa.
Had my private info comprised twice. Once a "bloke" in London bought a nice jacket. Second time, with the replacement card, some gal over in E. TX. bought a rug shampoo machine.
In both cases I did what I said. Bank credited my account immediately. Visa went to bat and later I was informed that Visa had settled with the thieves and that my credit would stand.
Now I am on my 3rd card. Let's see what happens. I am careful with my financial activities but it does happen. On the first problem I know not "who-done-it". In the second a local truck rental place was probably the culprit. Place just smelled of something amiss.
