Yup, manipulated numbers. They took food and fuel out of the numbers they used. Same thing with UE rates- they don;t use the U6 number, they use "First time applications for UE Insurance." IOW, they don't use the guy that's on his 15th round of UEI applications. They don't count the perpetually out of work or those that dropped out of the system and are on assistance. Currently the U3 "Official" UE rate is 7.0. The actual UE rate per the U6 is almost 14%! They do the same thing with the inflation rate- garbage data in, garbage data out.
