Sunday at 10:00 AM private snowplow contractor cleared our street curb-to-curb. They did it last nite again. We pay $25/yr per household to have it done. And some people complain about the cost. I live on a main street of the sub and it's clear before the main roads here in suburban Detroit are done.
Our office was shut down today and I worked from home. Had meetings, conference calls, answered emails, all from my kitchen table. I could get used to that.
Right now it's -5 and dropping. 4 dogs have been bugging me all day to go out. Let them out and right back in, time after time. Finally around 6:00 PM, put their coats on them and let them run in the yard for about 10 minutes. Usually they'll stay out as long as I let them, even if it's in the 20's. But they ran to the back door as soon as I said "let's go in".
