I moved up to the Wagner Thermo Quiet when they first started making them. They are top of the line, ceramic, expensive and worth every penny. No dust, no noise, and the rotors stay flat. I alway's turn my rotors when I change pads and so far the rotors have cleaned up with a 5 thousand's shave on both sides. Mabie that's just luck but it's never happened before.
Sounds to me like you have the Advance silver metallic pads. Nastiest rotor eating pads I ever tried.
