-13 F here this am, don't want to know what the wind chill makes it to be. Water was frozen in pumphouse last night. Went to check found outer door had come off in wind A little time with heat gun and up and going again.Chores were not too bad otherwise, wondering why I still have livestock.Remember having days like this back in the 80's when chores took ALL day. 30 some milk cows, 40 sows (farrow to finish) and 30 beef cows. Hard time keeping house warm. The window and insulation upgrades haven't happened yet, wood pile is shrinking fast. These days will soon enough be behind us.I could actually feel the sun through the windows of the truck on the way to the shop a few minutes ago.
