: Has anyone bought a Tisco™ Rebuild kit from YT? How well do they work out? Quality? Thanks. : Eric If you're buying a kit for an Allis-Chalmers tractor, go get it from your AGCO-Allis dealer because it will be a lot less expensive. I know this to be true for the AC engines with the 4" bore like the WC, WD, WD-45, D-17, etc. For example, an overhaul kit for a D-17 with pistons, sleeves, pins, rings, rod bearings, main bearings, and all engine seals and gaskets runs about $450...much less than the aftermarket places. I think other AC engines are the same as well. However, if your tractor isn't an AC, I just put wear on my keyboard for nothing!!
