Its more fun when a previous employer, fails to pay a ticket, say.. a no inspection violation, CDL or in those days, Class *1* is suspended.
Months later you get pulled over, finally get your turn, you've been weighting,(pardon the pun)...... at last its weigh in time !!!, and of course its an automatic "aggravated unlicensed" on you, with a bonus.... being threatened with arrest! Now of course it just took the rest of the afternoon, to correct the problem, easily straightened out, back to work the next day, boss man not too bad about it, and to add to it, a tad overweight, enough for another violation, we're still friends today. That was a long time ago now, but was it ever some fun, well maybe not, thankfully I persuaded the gentlemen in the patrol car to take me to a nearby atm, to avoid getting hauled off. Reality part is, only thing you really did wrong was show up to work LOL ! Pay was never all that bad for driving, but.... you do get the extra drama with the law as part of the job, most likely at some point, that I can guarantee LOL !

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
