Mine is used in 4 or 6 wheel pickups (not a real truck by your standards, LOL) and mounts inside at top of rear window on driver"s side looking back. Friend tried one on outside mirror of box truck and said it didn"t last due to water and vibration. I wonder if you could mount it in cab in such a way that it would look into rear view on one or other side?
