My association with both Medicare and SS were seamless processes. Most of the work was done on the internet. On the SS I set up an appointment on www, went to the office, sat in the very busy lobby all of 5 minutes, went in, the courteous rep. had all my info on her computer including my DD 214 Honorable Discharge which I couldn't find.
