We were working on a project and the customer brought in a coatings specialist. This specialist had invented an anti graffiti coating that can be applied to anything. Easy clean up of almost anything that goes on after the coating has been applied.
He asked us to take him into Toronto to check out all the graffiti. He thought he was going to find a large market for his product. He was very disappointed. One of the guys drove him all around downtown and they found very little graffiti.
The cold is a factor but are population is also a lot lower and our gangs much smaller. The city has also hired graffiti artist to do complete walls on buildings and I've seen buses done as well.
