Don't know exactly what they are calling for up here in Concord, NC, but the schools just decided to let out early. Not that that means much given that they have started school 2 hours late several times already simply because it was cold. Funny thing the days they did that it was still in the teens when they started late, just as it was had they started on time. Now I could understand a bit if there was ice involved and they just wanted it to get light outside first, but in both cases it was dry as a bone outside.
All I know is if people around here had acted this way when I was growing up we'd have spend half out summers making up for 'snow days' taken off due to 'inclimate' weather. WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOTS.
