I used 2badlybent at first but changed it to nybadlybent to let others know where I was posting from. The badly bent part is a play on my last name and those who know me would understand the connection.
I used a handle rather than my real name to avoid any personal conflicts as they can sometimes be ugly as some of the other posters already know.
I live way up in NY State, not far from the Canadian border and yet still get abused by others who think all New York people live in NY city. The county I live in is called St. Lawrence. It is the largest county in NY State and in fact it is the largest county east of the Mississippi river and yet the population is around 100,000 and declining. The county has about 50 miles of river front on the St. Lawrence river and to the south begins the Adirondack mountains. Great place to live if you are an outdoor sportsperson. Colder than Heck in the winter but perfect in the summer, both days.
