I had great parents, married a fantastic woman and had the best in-laws. FIL died about 6 yrs after we were married and MIL re-married a guy with a few bucks. FIL was a binge drinker, but when sober (most of the time) nicest most helpful guy in the world. MIL was a party animal, loved Her to pieces and couldn't keep up with Her. I really miss all of them dearly, including my wife.
