Hated to see what happened before, but trucks you can buy, not so sure about a wife, .... lets not go there LOL.
What really got my attention was that particular make and model and its unrelated, don't mean to hijack your post, been a rough couple of days maybe you'll enjoy the story.
This has not been a good week/end, we lost a long time friend and farmer, its been real hard on me, I'll probably post something about it some time later, I have a bunch of photos as well. So here I am trying to get through this and its not pleasant or easy at times, have not felt like normal in days.
I came home from the wake, don't feel like eating, just staying busy, but then I see this reflection of headlights, they turn and back into my little field here, lights off, I hear voices, one sounds like the neighbors daughter, but its not her, this is strange. So now concerned, and its dark, I go out with the super bright light ready to use, and quietly approach from behind a pine tree, stop to listen. Its 2 young ladies, one a sophmore and the other a freshman from a well renowned local college, RPI. The vehicle is what your wife has, Nissan Frontier and they are sitting on the tailgate. One is from, Lewiston Maine, and the other from Maryland.
So instead of being a crab, hey what are you doing, get off my land LOL !! I turned it into humor, thinking to myself this is really odd, and with the weird people out there today, just baffling, well I'm glad it was me and here, I sure in heck aint one of them types. I then thought, might just be someone trying to smoke weed, thats happened before. Well the back door was locked and no one was robbing my house, so..... I ran with it. I kept em entertained with my philosophy on wherever the conversation went. Well it took my mind off things, nothing like humor when you need it even under these odd circumstances. Cold temps eventually made us part ways, they might or want to come back like the view or something, well I said do so in daylight and warm weather or If you see us out on the pond, bring skates or tell some people, we have had students, come for pick up hockey games before, and we are always short of players.
Oh well, I needed that, losing a friend is so hard to deal with, I sure never knew this was going to happen, and hopefully no one is casing my house planning to rob me LOL !! Sometimes I think things happen for a reason, and the other thoughts are, who are these girls parents, ya'll should know better than to tail gate in the dark on strangers land, well unless its my land and you are in a Nissan Frontier ! What a day, I go from a solemn time at a wake to an unnannounced one night only, improv comedy hour in the cold and dark, just the darnedest things happening lately!

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK).
