Ya those new rubber tipped needles need to have a set put in them to seal as they should. You drop the needle in the seat an tap on it a few times. If you then look at the rubber tip you should see a sort of ring that is what is called the set. Learned that from a old carb guy years ago. Hes gone now but at least I saved a bit of his knowledge
